The severe weather shelter program will be operating Nov 1st - Mar 31st in Kitsap County. This shelter is available for single adults, parents with children, families, and teens. The location of the shelter is at the Bremerton Foodline, 1600 12th St in Bremerton (one block south of the Bremerton High School).
The shelters will open if it is expected to be 32 degrees or lower for four or more hours; if one inch of snow is expected; or if one inch of rain is expected between noon and 6 a.m. the next day. The determination is made by the Dept. of Emergency Management.
